Origins

With an MA in Language Teaching and fifteen years experience in secondary education, ranging from classroom practitioner, curriculum leader and advanced skills teacher to assistant principal with responsibility for teaching and learning, I have now set up the learning organisation Boulot whose purpose is to improve learning outcomes through the development and integration of creativity and critical thinking in the everyday curriculum.

As a school practitioner I worked for several years on co-development projects with the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency [QCDA] which gave me experience in carrying out disciplined curriculum innovation at whole school level.

I am an accredited creative practitioner with Curious Minds, working with schools to develop and embed creativity and critical thinking skills across the curriculum.
